More than 8 out of 10 Americans have experienced stress in the last 2 weeks; reported a recent study on the stress factors from work.

Although this was a study done in the Americas, that does not mean that the other countries do not experience high amounts of stress too.

Just googling a simple term “how to reduce stress” shows up with over 1,290,000,000 results.

That’s 1,290,000,000 answers and this is proof that this question is still in search for a valid answer, and finally one that works.

In the search you see answers like, exercise, meditate, clean (I’m not making this up!), breathe, take a day off, etc.

Although, all those are amazing answers, I had to ask myself these 2 questions while I was searching:

  1. Why is it that my holistic health mentor never missed a day of work for over 20+ years, because he said,”when you have a dream, you don’t need a crisis”)
  2. And 2, how is it that when I’m extremely stressed I do these 3 things, and I almost instantly feel so much better?

So, what are these 3 things I do that help make me feel better and less stressed almost instantly? Here they are:

1. I focus on my breath

I breathe in 4 seconds (through the nose), hold for 4 seconds, exhale slowly 4 seconds, hold 4 seconds…

And then I repeat until I feel calm; And then I find 5 things I see, 5 things I hear, 5 things I can touch, and 5 things I taste.

By doing this, I am grounding myself and also using my physical human senses to come back into the now.

2. I change my focus from what I DON’T want, to what I DO want

Earlier I mentioned that my health mentor hasn’t missed a day of work in over maybe like 20+ days.

Why? Because he told me “when you have a dream you don’t need a crisis”.

Holistically speaking, when you’re focused on your dream and your vision and your purpose you are energetically raising your vibration and filling yourself up with more life everyday.

So continue to fill your body with your love and your joy and chase your dream and make a difference in this world and rather than focusing on everything you don’t want to happen, focus on what you do want, suddenly you’ll feel your journey start to feel so different under your feet.

You MUST stay INSPIRED! ❤

3. I choose 3 things I am grateful for

And then there’s number 3. Gratefulness.

I can’t stress this enough.

Gratitude is the new attitude. And people love it when they sense it on you and you’ll be a magnet for abundance, love, positivity and more.

Breathe, chase your dreams, follow your heart, remain positive, you’ve got this.

In Conclusion

Change your mind, change your world.

Stress has always been involved in society… currently is involved in society and will always be involved in society.

But stress isn’t always a bad thing. Science has shown that good stress has tremendous results in getting an individual results when they’re looking for them.

The key problem with the way we’re coping with stress right now is that we see it as a bad thing.

We all have stress.

But with less than a few minutes, you can change your mind to think differently and free yourself from the unnecessary heaviness of that stress finally; by simply changing your focus.

But how do you do that?

You change your focus by control your breath (tip: the longer your breath, the longer your calmness stays with you), change your focus from what you DON’T want, to what you DO want, and third, always remain grateful.

But the MOST important one of these 3 that I would like to put an emphasis on is number 2, because when you’re focused on what you DO want, you’re living in your dream, unlike the other way around.

A key way you can know if a person is going towards their dream or towards their fear, is if they’re becoming more toxic, they’re getting farther from their dream.

When a person is more inspirational and excited, they’re moving closer to their dreams.

Because a person who is following their dreams, will want to help those around them to follow their dreams too and will have no time for anything that doesn’t bring them closer to their dreams, and won’t need the crisis to support their purpose.

Find your dream, control your yogi breath, and always remember to count your blessings. If you’re reading this, you already have so much more than the other person who can’t read this.

Keep following your dreams love, and no matter what, always stay inspired!

Peace, love and happiness,
